· Principal Responsibilities
· Primary function.
· Manage the comprehensive involvement of procurement within the product introduction process PIP (development phase) and integration in the product introduction team PIT.
· Manage the material and supplier selection within the PIP to gain a maximum benefit for OSARM.
· Manage the procurement engineering function within the defined area of responsibility, including reporting.
· Initiate and drive cost optimization/reduction within the development process and along the projects.
· Focus on cost targets and time targets within the development process by managing the sourcing activities.
· Ensure material / supplier availability, lead times.
· Identification, analysis and implementation of new technologies and suppliers.
· Manage the involvement of suppliers into development projects.
· Enhance the selected supplier pool in support to the commodity management (recommended supplier list RSL).
· Perform market and technology research related to development project needs.
· Gain technology transfer from suppliers.

· Minimum 10 years in RD / technical departments / related procurement.
· Management experience and expertise.
· Experience in engineering, mechanic/materials/optic, LED, electronics.
· University degree in engineering or natural sciences or related.
· Commercial background or additional study recommended.
