Component / Sourcing Engineer
The Sourcing Engineer will take important part in efforts of exploring, initiating and developing new suppliers. The main responsibilities for this position will be as follows:
· Searching new suppliers.
· Conducting factory audits, commercial and technical discussion.
· Follow suppliers’ approval process.
· Target cost down or quality improvements with new suppliers.
· Support Purchasing/R&D/Logistic for communication with suppliers.
· Analyze Market trends for different component groups.
Key qualifications:
· BS degree in Electrical or Material engineering.
· Good spoken and written English.
· Good communication, positive attitude, patience.
· Microsoft office knowledge.
Requirements:
· 2-3 years of experience in Component Sourcing/Purchasing.
· Experience in LCD TV, LCD modules or Tablet PC manufacturer.
· Project management skills, working in a matrix Organization to managing a cross-functional team in order to achieve new product objectives.
· Be able to travel to supplier's plants, inside and outside China
· Component Knowledge
· The individual in this role will act as the technical and commercial interface between suppliers and Vestel.
